Akoimart Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy :


  1. Cancellation before shipment.


  • If the item(s) to be cancelled have not been shipped yet, you can write to our customer support team 2 hours prior to the shipment at support@akoimart.com or call/WhatsApp us at 8837392197.


  • In such cases, the order will be cancelled, and the refund will be initiated within 24-48 business hours after the cancellation request is duly processed by us.


  • Monday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 


  1. How long will the cancellation process take and how will our customers be refunded?


In case of cancellation before shipment, we process the refund within 24-48 business hours after receiving the cancellation request.


Refund options:


  • For payments done through credit/debit cards or net banking/UPI, the refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the products back. It may take 7 working days for the amount to be reflected in your account.


  • For cash-on-delivery transactions, we will initiate a bank transfer against the refund amount against the billing details shared by you. This process will be completed within 24-48 business hours of us receiving the products back and your bank details via email. It may take 7 working days for the amount to be reflected in your account.


3. How do our customers return an item purchased from Akoimart, or, in case our customers receive
a damaged or defective item/wrong product in their order, how should our customers proceed?
  • Akoimart offers its customers an "Easy return policy", wherein you can raise a return/exchange request for a product within 7 days of its delivery.


  • Our shipments go through rigorous quality check processes before they get dispatched from our warehouse. However, in rare cases where your product is damaged during shipment or transit, you can request a replacement, cancellation or refund.


  • If you have received an item in a damaged/defective condition or have been sent the wrong product, you can follow a few simple steps to initiate your return/refund within 1-7 working days (may vary depending on the item) of receiving the order:


  • Step 1: Follow one of the following steps:


  • Via Email/call/WhatsApp;

  • Step 2: Once your request is received, our concerned team will be responsible for picking up the item from you or you can drop it at our warehouse. We will initiate the refund or replacement process only if the products are received by us in their original packaging with their seals and labels intact.



Note: If it is a case of replacement, it is subject to the availability of stock.


   4.  Which are the items that cannot be returned/exchanged?


Returns will not be accepted under the following conditions:

  • The product is damaged either in part or whole.

  • Customer’s remorse will not be entertained: Such as change of mind, regret after buying, or family member already bought the same item.

  • Returned without original packaging.

  • Product is used or altered

  • If the request is initiated after 7 working days of order delivery.

   5. Special cases for Books:


  • Books Available in our store have the option for “Cash-On-Delivery”.

  • Books in the “Requested books” section will have to be fully paid for in advance.

  • Orders that are confirmed, fully paid, and out for delivery are not returnable/refundable.

  • Refund will be processed within 2 working days once the product is received by us. Depending on the mode of payment used, the refund window may vary, from 7 to 14 days.

Akoi Rice Replacement Policy:


This item is non-returnable as it comes under the consumable category.


However, if the consumer receives a damaged/defective item or a  different/wrong item gets delivered to you, we may provide a free replacement as applicable. We may contact you and run a thorough inquiry by our concerned team about the damage or defect of the product delivered and if the conditions laid out below are met, we will proceed with the replacement.


General replacement Policy :


Which items are not eligible for replacement?


Rice bags that are rain-soaked or covered with mud while in the customer’s possession.


What are the conditions for replacement?


Our rice products can be replaced within 2 days with no extra cost through our online and offline replacement centres.


Items within the return window and in stock (the same item or of the exact cost) are eligible for a free replacement. The free replacement order will get shipped through standard shipping, which is 1-2 days within Manipur and 7-15 days outside of Manipur. The replacement order will be processed if the following conditions are satisfied.


  • The rice bag/bags received is/are physically damaged.

  • The quality of the rice has been compromised; the presence of impurities, foul smell, or taste.


Note: If a consumer receives a non-returnable product in a damaged/defective condition, he/she has to contact us within 2 days, or else the return period will collapse.
